Overseas Filipino workers can still renew their driver's license through authorized representative while still working abroad

The authorized representative shall personally present to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) the follo~ing:

  1. Original driver's license and one (1) photocopy;
  2. Photocopy of the data page of the licensee's Philippine passport and the page with valid visa in a country where the overseas Filipino is currently working; and
  3. Letter from the licensee to the LTO requesting the renewal and authorizing a representative to renew the license on his behalf.

The amended fees and charges are as follows:

License Fee (Professional/Non-Professional) Php 350.00

Penalties:

Expired for less than one (1) year Php 75.00
Expired for one (1) to less than TI\10 (2) years Php 150.00
Expired for two (2) years or more Php 225.00
