Sibling models and internet personalities, Mses. Anna Maria and Katharina Damm, visited the Philippine Embassy in Berne on 07 November 2016 with their mother Elisa Carpesano Damm-Ludwig to accompany their aunts who were renewing their Philippine passports.

Young fans in Europe are drawn to both Anna Maria and Katharina for their down-to-earth attitude and style. Their fashion sense is likewise praised for its grounded practicality as their outfit combinations are based on affordable brands and non-signature items.

20-year-old Anna Maria was first noticed in Europe when she made it to the Top 5 of Germany's Next Top Model in 2013. She now has almost 900,000 followers on Instagram, in addition to her beauty and lifestyle video blog (vlog) “Anna Maria Damm” on YouTube followed by more than half a million people.

Katharina, 22 years old, is an equally popular vlogger and style guru known best for her YouTube channel “Katharina Damm”. The channel, posting everything from fashion videos to vlogs to makeup tutorials, has garnered a following of more than 270,000 subscribers.

Anna Maria and Katharina also run their joint blog (“an-kat.com”) and YouTube channel (“AnKat uncut”) with around 280,000 subscribers.

Their mother Elisa, a native of Davao, is very proud of her daughters. Both Katharina and Anna Maria speak fluent Filipino (Tagalog and Visayan), having spent most of their childhood years from 1999-2005 in Tagum City. The family is currently based in Neuenbürg, Germany (around 3.5 hours by car from Berne) and frequently returns to the Philippines for holidays.
