The Philippine Embassy in Berne, Switzerland is inviting interested parties to submit a quotation for the project “Pest Control/Fumigation of the Philippine Embassy Chancery” to cover all offices and other parts of the Philippine Embassy Chancery” with a total area of 950 sq. meters.
Interested companies should comply with the attached Terms of Reference (TOR) of the project.

Offers must be delivered to and received by the Administration by 16 September 2022. Offers shall be considered on the same day by the Committee. The Companies shall thereafter be informed of the decision of the Committee

Technical Specification
Procurement of Pest Control/Fumigation Services

I. |
Background: The Philippine Embassy intends to avail of the services of a Swiss reputable company for its once a year Pest Control/Fumigation treatment for the interior of the Embassy Chancery |
|
|
II |
Objective: To hire professional services for the project |
|
|
III |
Scope of Work: The Contractor shall undertake the following: |
Statement of Compliance |
|
1. Must be able to identify and eradicate prospective spots in the Embassy interior where pests and other insects are well known to hibernate |
||
|
2. Must be able to fumigate all parts of the Embassy’s interior to arrest proliferation of pests and other insects |
||
|
3. Execute the fumigation on a weekend, during which the Embassy is close to the public preferable on a Saturday |
||
|
4. Undertake a minimum of three (3) fumigation activities in the course of one (1) year the schedule of which shall be agreed with the Embassy |

IV |
Contractor’s Obligations: The Contractor shall: |
|
|
1. Provide professional, duly licensed service crew |
||
|
2. Use pesticides and chemicals non-hazardous to humans |
||
|
3. Provide its crew with appropriate protective apparel and equipment. |
||
|
4. Provide equipment and other tools necessary to undertake the work |
||
|
V |
Contract Duration and Offer |
|
|
1. The Contract shall indicate the dates of the schedule of the work |
||
|
2. The Offer shall include a breakdown of cost |
||
|
3. The Offer shall be exclusive of MWST/VAT |
||

VI |
Terms of Payment: 1. The invoice shall be addressed to the Philippine Embassy in Berne, Switzerland and should indicate that the same is for the Pest /Fumigation services 2. Full payment shall be made within seven (7) days from the official invoice (send-bill arrangements) by postal mail |
