On Labor Matters
Labor and labor-related issues such as Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC), contract verification, and welfare assistance to members of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), among others, are handled by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) / Migrant Workers Office (MWO) of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
Per DMW Department Order No. 04 series of 2023 dated 27 February 2023, the MWO is the overseas operating arm of the DMW and the MWO Officer is the Head of the MWO.
