FOR : THE INSTALLATION OF NEW STONE PAVEMENTS, CONCRETE AND GRAVEL AT THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY GROUNDS APPROVED BUDGET OF
CONTRACT : US$50,000.00 for FY 2018

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. Business establishment should be located in Switzerland, preferably in Berne, for easy access and more efficient transactions;
2. Excavation of the soil and installation of new stone pavements, concrete and gravel located at the right-hand side and backyard of the Embassy grounds;
3. The cost should also include the following:
1.) Clearing and digging up of shrubs;
2.) Removal of old pavements;
3.) Setting of concrete strips and embedding;
4.) Chipping of gravel;
5.) Installing new stone pavements that can withstand snow and rain;
6.) Obtaining the requisite from the City of Berne to proceed with the said project;
7.) Transportation, clearing up and labor costs.
4. Full payment shall be made upon receipt of official invoice or bill by mail.

II. FOR: THE REPAIR AND RESTORATION OF THE PAVEMENT, GARDEN AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM AT THE FRONT YARD OF THE EMBASSY TO ARREST WATER SEEPAGE AND
FURTHER DETERIORATION OF THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE PHILIPPINE CHANCERY IN BERNE, SWITZERLAND AMOUNTING TO CHF 91,000.00 (NET OF VAT) FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2019 [Project 2 (P2)]

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The business establishment undertaking the proposed Project should be located in Switzerland, preferably in Berne, to facilitate easy access and efficient transaction;
1. Repair and restoration of the pavement, garden and drainage system to arrest water seepage and deterioration of the structural integrity of the Philippine Chancery;
2. Uprooting and digging up of six (6) thuja trees including their disposal;
3. Digging up and disposition of existing coverings and supplement the roadbed of the aforementioned areas;
4. Set in concrete cement strips the specified areas in the front yard taking into account the height difference between the driveway and the drainage channel including dry packing
for effective groundwater intake;
5. Supply and install chippings and crushed sand, and laying of natural stones (198 square meters) at the front yard of the Chancery grounds in line with the City and Cantonal regulations on heritage/monument protection of the City Council of Berne, Canton Berne, Switzerland;
6. Preparation and planting of new plants/trees/hedges, including mulching and watering;
The cost should also include the following:
a.) Clearing and digging up of shrubs;
b.) Removal of and disposal of old pavements, stones and other debris;
c.) Submission of detailed (proposed) Plan to the Embassy;
d.) In line with the existing practice and regulations in Switzerland, the bidder commits to obtain the requisite Permit, in behalf of or in coordination with the Embassy, from the City
Council of Berne for the proposed Project;
e.) Transportation, clearing up and all materials and labor costs attendant to the proposed Project.
5. Deduction of MWST/ VAT refund
- The Embassy will issue a Notice of Award and Notice to Proceed to the winning bidder only after the General Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2019 has been approved and adopted by the Philippine Government.

1. Name and Profile of the Company;
2. Description of work and detailed proposed Project Plan based on the Technical Specifications provided by the Embassy;
3. Final quotation amount; and
4. List of previous projects undertaken by the Company
