The Embassy of the Philippines in Berne, Switzerland, invites bids for the shipment of diplomatic household good and personal effects from Berne, Switzerland to Manila, Philippines, by sea freight and full door-to-door services.
Bidders should comply with the attached Terms of Reference (TOR) for the project.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Administrative Officer and BAC Secretariat, Ms. Agnes H. Tuazon at the 031 350 1715.
Bid offers must be delivered to and received by the Administration, by 24 July 2019. Bid offers shall be considered by the Committee on the same day. Bidders shall be informed of the decision of the Committee.

Technical Specifications
Procurement of Relocation/Moving Services

I. |
Background
The Philippine Embassy in Berne intends to avail of the services of a reliable moving company that will handle the shipment to the Philippines of the household goods and personal effects of Ms. Mary Irene A. Sadang, outgoing personnel of the Philippine Embassy in Berne.
The move should be made at least one (1) week prior to Ms. Sadang's departure from Switzerland on 01 November 2019.

II. |
Objective
To avail of the services of a reliable moving company that can provide the moving services in an efficient, reliable and professional manner and pursuant to the Scope of Work outlined hereunder.

III. |
Scope of Work
The Contractor shall undertake the following:

Statement of Compliance |

2. Shuttle services if needed |
|
|
|
3. Dismantling of big furniture, if needed |
|
|
4. Packing labor of the breakable and non-breakable items
5. Crating of furniture, if needed
|
|
|
6. Provision of packing materials |
|
|
7. Preparation of List of Inventory with English translation
|
|
|
8. Loading of household goods and personal effects from the Consignee's residence into a 1 x20'HC Container with shuttle service
|
|
|
9. Provision of Security Seal for the container
|
|
|
10. Handle Swiss Customs Export Clearance
|
|
|
11. Transportation charges to the European Port of exit
|
|
|
12. FOB Charges for the shipment
|
|
|
13. Issuance of Bill of Lading for the household goods and personal effects
|
|
|
14. Attend to the documentation for the Tax and Duty Free Clearance of the shipment upon arrival at the Port of Manila
|
|
|
15. Shoulder Terminal Handling and other incidental fees relative to the clearing process of the tax and duty free entry of the shipment at the Bureau of Customs, Manila
|
|
|
16. Delivery of the Shipment to the residence of the Consignee immediately after its release from the Bureau of Customs
|
|
|
17. Unpacking and assembling of furniture including disposal of debris used
|
|
|
18. Return of Empty container to the agent's warehouse or terminal
|
|
IV. |
CONTRACTOR’S OBLIGATIONS:
The contractor shall:

2. Provide a reliable partner moving company in the Philippines that is accredited with the Department of Foreign Affairs |
|
|
3. Provide experienced and professional personnel to execute the project.
|
|
|
|
4. The contractor should be based in Berne
|
|
V. |
Contract Duration and Bid Offer
2. The Bid price shall include a breakdown of the cost.
3. Bid price shall be exclusive of MWST/VAT refund.

VI. |
Terms of Payment
Full payment shall be made within seven (7) days upon receipt of official invoice (i.e., send-bill arrangement) by mail.
