The Philippine Embassy in Berne, Switzerland requests for quotation for the project "Pest Control/Fumigation" to cover all offices and other parts of the Philippine Embassy Chancery.
Interested companies should comply with the attached Terms of Reference (TOR) of the project.
Interested supplies may obtain further information from the Administrative Officer and BAC Secretariat, Ms. Agnes H. Tuazon at 031-350-1715 or Mr. Abner Sto. Domingo, Property Officer at 031-350 1756.
Offers must be delivered to and received by the Administration by 25 September 2019. Offers shall be considered on the same day by the Committee. The Companies shall thereafter be informed of the decision of the Committee.
ANNEX A
Technical Specification
Procurement of Pest Control/Fumigation Services

I. |
Background: The Philippine Embassy intends to avail of the services of a Swiss reputable company for its once a year Pest Control/Fumigation treatment for the interior of the Embassy Chancery. |

II. |
Objective: To hire professional services |
|
|
III |
Scope of Work: The Contractor shall undertake the following: |
Statement of Compliance |
|
|
1. Must be able to identify and eradicate prospective spots in the Embassy interior where pests and other insects are well known to hibernate |
|
|
|
2. Must be able to fumigate all parts of the Embassy interior to arrest proliferation of pests and other insects |
|
|
|
3. Execute the fumigation on a weekend, during which the Embassy is close to the public, preferably on Saturday, 05 October 2019 |

IV |
Contractor's Obligations:
The Contractor shall: |

|
|
|
|
|
2. Use non-hazardous pesticide chemicals for humans |
|
|
|
3. Provide its crew with appropriate protective mask and gloves |
|
|
|
4. Provide equipment and other tools necessary to undertake the work |
|
|
V |
Contract Duration and Offer |
|
|
|
1.The Contract shall be for 05 October 2019 |
|
|
|
2. The Offer shall include a breakdown of cost |
|
|
|
3.The Offer shall be exclusive of MWST/VAT refund |

VI |
Terms of Payment: 1. The invoice shall be addressed to the Philippine Embassy in Berne, Switzerland, and should indicate that the same is for the Pest Control/Fumigation services. 2. Full payment shall be made within seven (7) days from receipt of the official invoice (send-bill arrangement) by postal mail. |
