UPDATED- IATF RESOLUTIONS OF 03 FEBRUARY 2022
ON THE RECOGNITION OF COVID-19 CERTIFICATE, AND NEW ENTRY, TESTING AND QUARANTINE PROTOCOLS
FOR ENTRY INTO THE PHILIPPINES
07 February 2022 – the Embassy informs the public that the Philippine Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has issued the following Resolutions on 03 February:
- IATF Resolution 160 – which included the Swiss COVID-19 vaccination certificate in the list of national certificates accepted/recognized by the Philippines for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols - https://mirror.officialgazette.gov.ph/downloads/2022/02feb/20220203-RESO-160-RRD.pdf;
- IATF Resolution 160A – effective 0001H of 10 February 2022, the new entry, testing and quarantine protocols for all Filipino citizens arriving from abroad - https://mirror.officialgazette.gov.ph/downloads/2022/02feb/20220203-RESO-160A-RRD.pdf; and

Note that IATF Resolution 159 issued on 27 January 2022 temporarily suspended the classification of countries / territories / jurisdictions as “Green”, “Yellow”, and “Red”.
The public is further informed that:
- Switzerland is among the non-visa required countries under EO 408. The list of countries which nationals can enter the Philippines visa-free for a maximum stay of 30 days can be viewed from: https://dfa.gov.ph/list-of-countries-for-21-day-visa;
- Per IATF Resolution 160A, all inbound travelers shall register with the One Health Pass (https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/) prior to arrival in the Philippines;
- Effective 10 February 2022, all foreigners travelling to the Philippines must be fully vaccinated. Please also view the IATF Resolution 160B (above) for the guidelines on the matter.
- The Embassy does not endorse any insurance company for purposes of travel to the Philippines. Please inquire with local Swiss insurance companies regarding the international medical/health coverage for Covid-19;
- Per IATF Resolution 16B, all fully vaccinated foreign nationals shall not be included in the arrival quota set by the Department of Transportation (DOTR) and its One-Stop-Shop (OSS);
- The IATF regularly assesses, determines, and decides on the entry requirements and health measures to be placed in view of the current epidemiological situation, not the Philippine Embassy; and
