ON THE REQUIRED STAMPS FOR THE RETURN OF CONSULAR DOCUMENTS AS A RESULT OF AN INCREASE IN POSTAL CHARGES

10 January 2022 – the public is informed that in view of the increase in local postal charges effective 01 January 2022, all consular clients requesting the return of their documents to them by mail must provide the Embassy with a minimum of CHF6.50 worth of stamps. Please purchase the stamps from your local Post Office.

The Embassy wishes to remind the concerned consular clients of the requirement for them to send a self-addressed envelope with stamp worth CHF6.50 minimum with the consular documents they are submitting to the Embassy.

Noting that mails and packages are charged by their weight, please consult your Post Office for the required stamps needed for the return of your documents.
