ON TRANSIT VIA INCHEON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
11 January 2022 – The Filipino Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein are informed that passengers transiting through the Incheon International Airport must possess the required valid RT-PCR Test results prior to their travel to the Philippines.
Per the information received from the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, Republic of Korea, the Incheon International Airport or any airport in the ROK do not have RT-PCR test facilities inside the airport for transiting passengers. RT-PCR test facilities are only for passengers actually entering Korea.
In the event that transit passengers arrive in Incheon or any other airport in the ROK without the required RT-PCR test, they will be asked to board outward flights from Korea which could result in additional costs, longer travel time, and other inconveniences.
The public is also advised that they should ensure that they have PCR test results valid for acceptance in the Philippines, in addition to accomplishing the One Health Pass online. The details are as follows:
- COVID-19 RP-PCR testing and quarantine is mandatory in the Philippines regardless of your vaccination status. Kindly refer to the IATF Resolution No. 154-C (https://doh.gov.ph/sites/default/files/health-update/IATFResolution154-C.pdf) for information regarding length of quarantine, COVID-19 testing and vaccination status classification; and
