The Philippine Embassy reminds registered overseas Filipino voters of the following information in relation to the 2016 Philippine National Elections:

  1. Election ballots will be sent directly to registered overseas Filipino voters either by the COMELEC or by the Philippine Embassy;      
  2. The list of overseas voters whose voter’s ID are now available at the Embassy is posted on the Embassy website and Facebook, and at the Embassy’s Consular Reception area. Overseas voters whose IDs are not yet available may directly email the COMELEC for queries or follow-up at email This email address is being protected from spambots.   3. The Embassy will post the list of overseas Filipino voters whose ballots were returned to the Embassy. The ballots may be picked up at the Embassy or resent to concerned overseas voters. In case of the latter, the Embassy requests concerned overseas voters to contact the Embassy for their recent/correct postal address.
  4. Voting instructions, including the list of candidates, are included in the election packets that are sent to overseas voters.
  5. For background information on the candidates, overseas Filipino voters can check the Internet or watch the presidential and vice presidential debates through Youtube live streaming, the schedule of which are as follow:

        Second Presidential Debate          -20 March 2016 – 5:00 p.m. Philippine time

        Vice Presidential Debate                -10 April 2016   – 5:000 p.m. Philippine time

        Third Presidential Debate               -24 April 2016 –   5:00 p.m. Philippine time
