Transfer of Registration Records of Overseas Voters for Purposes of the Forthcoming Barangay and Sanggunian Kabataan Elections 

 

The Commission on Elections recently announced that overseas voters who intend to participate in the Barangay and Sanggunian Kabataan Elections may file an application for transfer of registration record from the Philippine Embassy/Consulate where they are registered to their local registry from 15 to 30 July 2016.

 

All applicants for transfer shall accomplish and file their application for transfer (OVF No. 1-B).

Applications for transfer may be filed at any of the following:

  • Office for Overseas Voting (COMELEC);
  • Office of the Election Officer; or
  • Philippine Embassy/Consulate

Filing of application for transfer of registration records is not applicable to overseas voters who will apply for transfer of their registration records from a Philippine Embassy/Consulate to a local registry of municipality/city/district other than their residences as indicated in OVF No.1 or as recorded in the local Certified Voters’ List.
