IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
GLOBAL ONLINE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM (GOAS) FOR PASSPORT
08 February 2022 – Filipinos in Switzerland and Liechtenstein are informed that the Department of Foreign Affairs’ Global Online Appointment System (GOAS) for the Philippine passport will be fully implemented starting Tuesday, 01 March 2022. Following this, the Embassy will no longer entertain request for appointments by email or phone call.
The GOAS allows passport applicants to choose the available appointment dates through an online calendar. GOAS may be accessed through the following link:
The online appointment system only accepts Gmail and Yahoo email accounts. Passport applicants can secure an appointment system as an individual or as a group/family (maximum of 5 persons) by using one (1) email address for group appointments.
Concerned Filipinos are encouraged to:
- Secure only one (1) appointment for a passport application/s (individual or group) in order to give other applicants the same opportunity to set their appointment/s. Note that GOAS sessions expire if the required entries are not provided within the required period; and
- Secure their appointment/s only if they have all the required documents. The list can be viewed from: https://bernepe.dfa.gov.ph/images/E-PASSPORT_-1-_CONSULAR_REQUIREMENT_LIST_Jan_2022.pdf and https://bernepe.dfa.gov.ph/sample-sites/passport. Passport applications with incomplete documents cannot be processed even with confirmed appointments;
- Follow all the instructions in the system to fill up the form online
Payment (cash only) can be done directly at the Embassy during your appointment date.
The Embassy, however, will continue to process the passport applications of those with confirmed appointments up to 30 June 2022. Rescheduling of confirmed appointments must now be done through the GOAS.
Only those with appointments will be allowed to enter the Embassy premises.
Please be guided accordingly.
