16 February 2022 – the Embassy invites the public, particularly the Filipino Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, to an Online Roadshow on the Retail Treasury Bond (RTBs) Tranche 27, which will be conducted by the Philippine Bureau of Treasury (BTr) on Sunday, 20 February 2022 at 10.30H CET.

The online roadshow will discuss the risks associated with the structure and the ways to invest in the RTB 27, which is a 5-year, low-risk, fixed-income investment with interest on a quarterly basis.

The RTBs are part of the government’s savings mobilization program designed to make government securities accessible to retail investors and promote financial literacy in the country. Proceeds from the issuance of the RTBs will be directed to the country’s emergency, recovery, and resiliency funds to support the country following the effects brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
