The Embassy invites the public, particularly the Filipino Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, to an Online Roadshow on the Retail Treasury Bond (RTBs) Tranche 29. The online event will be conducted by the Philippine Bureau of Treasury (BTr) on Sunday, 12 February 2023 at 09.00H CET / Swiss Time.
The online roadshow is part of the Philippine government’s savings mobilization program designed to make government securities accessible to retail investors and promote financial literacy in the country. RTBs 29 is a 5-year, low-risk, fixed-income investment with interest on a quarterly basis, which proceeds will be directed to sustaining the country’s economic recovery efforts and funding key national expenditures as approved by the 2023 National Budget.
BTr recognizes the enthusiasm of the Overseas Filipinos and strong reception for the retail bond offerings, and once plans to conduct the said online financial literacy sessions focusing on the RTBs!
