The Philippines celebrates Museums and Galleries Month (MGM) every month of October. The observance of MGM underscores the importance of stimulating national consciousness and pride in the rich Filipino culture and heritage embodying the aspirations of the nation, expressed in all media of art as well as historical and religious artefacts.
The Embassy is pleased to present the works of collaborating Filipino artists based in Switzerland and pieces from the Embassy’s own collection that resonate this year’s theme of the MGM “Embracing Uncertainty: Showcasing Solidarity, Hope and Recovery”.
