PH Embassy Hosts Financial Literacy Talk for Filipino Community
25 May 2024, Berne - The Philippine Embassy hosted a financial literacy session entitled "Money Matters: A Guide to Financial Planning," on 25 May 2024 at the Sentro Rizal Berne. The event is part of the Asian Consulting Group's 2024 International Tax and Investment Roadshow in Switzerland this month.
In his welcome remarks, Ambassador Bernard Faustino M. Dy said, "I hope that by the end of this event, our Filcom in Switzerland will share the useful information on financial planning from our guest, Mr. Mon Abrea, with your friends."
Mr. Raymond "Mon" Abrea, Founding Chairman and Chief Tax Advisor of the Asian Consulting Group, shared with participants from the Filipino Community tips on managing finances, avoiding common money mistakes and scams, and venturing in business and investment activities. Participants also received a complimentary copy of Mr. Abrea's book, "Iwas Buwis-it: What to Do When Tax Attacks."
The Philippine Embassy, the Asian Consulting Group, and the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce will be holding an "Investment and Tax Briefing" on 27 May 2024 (Monday) at 11:30 A.M. at the Zunfthaus Zur Zimmerleuten in Zürich.
