30 September 2024, Berne - In its commitment to serve the needs of Filipinos overseas, the

Philippine Embassy in Berne conducted a consular outreach mission at the Mehrzweckhalle

Hofacker in Rickenbach, Zürich canton, yesterday, 29 September 2024. This is the Embassy’s

first consular outreach mission in Switzerland in six years since the previous one on 22

September 2018 in St. Gallen.

During the said activity, the Embassy’s outreach team processed 27 passport applications, 19

notarial applications, and 13 civil registration applications. The team also assisted 57 overseas

Filipinos, primarily on their consular concerns.

With overseas voter (OV) registration for the 2025 Philippine National Elections ending on 30

September, the Embassy also facilitated 39 OV applications, including new voter registration,

changes in voter’s information, and reactivation.

The Embassy extends its gratitude to the Philippine Catholic Mission-Switzerland for its support

to the said outreach mission. END
