Paintings on Apolinario Mabini were donated by father and son visual artists Aris and Dale Bagtas to the Philippine Embassy Berne to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Apolinario Mabini.

The paintings were unveiled during the Embassy’s celebration of National Heroes Day in the presence of the Executive Director of the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) Elizabeth Espino.

Ambassador Leslie Baja said that the paintings, which now hang in the Embassy’s reception room now called Sentro Mabini, will be a lasting reminder of the pioneering role of Mabini in the Philippine foreign service.
