FILIPINO FAMILY HOLDS CLASSICAL CONCERT IN BERNE

A one-night classical piano and violin concert of the Mondragon Family siblings was held on 07 February 2015 in Berne, Switzerland.

 

The concert, entitled “Mondragon”, was organized by the Mondragon spouses, Achilles and Mary Ann, who are Filipino expats in Berne working for Nestle Switzerland.  

 

The event featured the performances of their children Mylles Anton, Marc Lorenz, Anne Michelle and Armi Steffan, with their renditions of the classical pieces of Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and von Weber.

 

The concert was also the first public performance of the youngest of the Mondragon siblings, 16-year old Mylles Anton, a Grade 10 student from the International School of Berne.

 

Present in the concert wereAmbassador Leslie Baja and other officials of the Philippine Embassy.

 

The event was attended by a good mix of Swiss, foreigners, and members of the Filipino community in Berne.
