PHILIPPINE HONORARY CONSULATES IN ZURICH AND LIECHTENSTEIN INAUGURATED
Philippine Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein Leslie J. Baja inaugurated the Philippine Honorary Consulates in Zurich and Liechtenstein on 16 and 18 June 2015, respectively.
The Ambassador warmly welcomed to the ranks of Philippine Honorary Consuls Messrs. Urs Lustenberger and Alexander Ospelt as respective heads of the Philippine Consular Offices in Zurich and Liechtenstein.
Present during the inauguration were officials from the Philippine Embassy in Berne and the respective officials of Liechtenstein and Zurich as well as Filipino community leaders in the area.

Beginning July 2015, Filipino applicants for notarials and authentication transactions from the cantons of Zurich, Thurgau, Aargau, St. Gallen, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, and Appenzell Innerrhoden may be served by the office of Philippine Honorary Consul Urs Lustenberger in Zurich.
All Filipinos from Liechtenstein may visit the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Bendern for the same transactions also beginning July.
Mr. Lustenberger is a practicing lawyer and the founding Partner of the Lustenberger Attorneys at Law based in Zurich, Switzerland. He is currently the Chairman of the Swiss Asian Chamber of Commerce, and is frequently consulted by Swiss governmental, legal and economic councils.
Mr. Ospelt is Chairman of the Board of the Ospelt Group, a food and animal feed company based in Bendern, Liechtenstein established in 1957. Mr. Ospelt’s company is a leading meat processing company in Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
