FILIPINO BUFFET IN EICHHOLZ CAMPING SITE IN BERN
As part of the annual celebration of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence, a Filipino buffet, which was well received by both Bernese and Filipino guests, was held on 27 June 2015 in Eichholz camping site in Bern.
The atmosphere was a Filipino fiesta with typical Filipino delicacies and desserts served to the delighted guests. Philippine dishes were served and made available to the public, including the “lechon” which was cooked onsite in the traditional way. The popular “halo-halo” was also served to complement the sunny weather.

Messrs. Gardien and Wyss said a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the “Islands Kids Philippines” (IKP) foundation.
