Berne, 26 June 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Berne opened its doors from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to provide consular and other services to Filipinos working and residing in Switzerland on Saturday, 23 June 2018.
During the day-long activity, the team processed passport-related applications, civil registry, and dual citizenship applications as well as provided notarial services. The Embassy also conducted registration for overseas voting for Filipino citizens to enable them to participate in the mid-term national elections in 2019.

Consular briefing and individual consultations were also conducted, giving clients the opportunity to discuss their individual concerns, which include among others, property acquisition, tax and balikbayan privileges, adoption issues, inheritance, and retirement.
Representatives from POLO Geneva and Pag-IBIG Milan entertain inquiries from consular clients.
Minister and Consular General Josephine M. Reynante administers the Oath of Allegiance for Dual citizenship applicants.
The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Geneva also offered labor-related services. A representative of Pag-IBIG based in Milan also visited Berne and provided services to our Kababayans to avail this government service. END
