Ms. Anna Margherita Maffeis-Natale took her Oath of Office as Philippine Consul, ad honorem, with jurisdiction over the Canton of Ticino before Ambassador Denis Yap Lepatan during a simple Oath Taking Ceremony on 12 September 2018 at the Philippine Embassy.

Following the ceremony, Ambassador Denis Yap Lepatan congratulated Ms. Maffeis on her appointment and welcomed her to the Consular Team of the Embassy. Ambassador Lepatan also expressed confidence that Ms. Maffeis will effectively fulfil her duties as Consul.

Ms. Maffeis was accompanied by her spouse, Mr. Peitro Maffeis, and consular staff, Ms. Sara Piattini, during the event.

The Honorary Consulate in Ticino is scheduled to open in the latter part of the 2018.
