Ambassador Denis Yap Lepatan visited the Philippine Department of Tourism’s It’s More Fun in the Philippines booth on Saturday, 02 February 2019, at the FESPO exhibition in Zürich.

During his visit, Ambassador Lepatan met with FESPO Manager, Mr. Stephan Amstad and conferred with a number of journalists and tour operators about the Philippines and Philippine tourism and tour operators. He also congratulated DOT-Frankfurt Office Tourism Attache, Ms. Margarita Patricia Valdes and her team for DOT’s participation and hard work in realizing the exhibition.

DOT-Frankurt Team provided visitors of the booth with information on various tourism destinations and tour packages to the Philippines. The also met with various travel agents and operators during the fair. 

FESPO is an annual holiday and travel fair in Switzerland and is one of the biggest of its kind in the country. The 4-day exhibition expected 63,000 visitors and has 600 exhibitors, a number of which offered packages to Philippine destinations, including dive site and biking tours.
