SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION ADVISORIES REGARDING ILLEGAL INVESTMENT-TAKING ACTIVITIES CIRCULATING PUBLICLY AND ONLINE

The Embassy informs the public that, in light of the recent proliferation of alleged investment scams/schemes online, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines posted several advisories on its website warning the public about illegal investment-taking activities circulating publicly and online.

The SEC advisories were released in line with its efforts to encourage the public to be more cautious in when engaging in investment activities.
